Nelson Shangase is a 19 year old boy who was born and bred in kwamakhutha township in KZN .
Growing up life for Nelson was difficult as he grew up poor and sometimes would sleep with nothing to eat.
At the age of 18 with only R350 in his pocket he and his partner kuhle Mseleku contributed R350 and that’s how the finesse Brand was born .
The finesse Brand would make an average of R500 but in most cases it would reach 8K in monthly sales .
But all of this took a toll When their business was looted during the July unrest an some of their stock was left damaged .
But this didn’t stop Nelson from giving up instead he found other ways of making money by founding his new sneaker wash business which is also doing well currently
it is good to see the young stand up and start up businesses to earn an income rather than waiting for government assistance or staying unemployed .
