JOHANNESBURG – Eskom said that prepaid meters should have been introduced in Soweto as the lattice must be safeguarded and income gathered.

The utility has advised occupants that they need to introduce prepaid meters or remain in obscurity.

“So when individuals direct unlawful associations they are bypassing sure wellbeing guidelines and it truly puts strain and that is where our clients will encounter spontaneous blackouts,” said Gauteng Eskom representative Amanda Qithi.

Yet, in spite of this occupants are as yet declining prepaid meters.

“The is certainly opposition that we experience in specific regions. Seven days prior, Moletsane occupants drove us out of the area when we had organized to go reestablish and this was the subsequent time,” Qithi said.
