KwaZulu-Natal – Nine people were left injured after a minibus taxi overturned in Inanda on Sunday Morning.

It is said that Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to the scene around 11:32 and found a white Toyota Hiace minibus taxi lying on its side.

The eight passengers and the driver suffered minor to moderate injuries in the accident. According to the driver he took his eyes off the road as he wanted to look for a bottle of water which was on the passenger side. 

The mini bus then veered off and travelled down an embarkment before it overturned. All passengers and the driver were treated on the scene before being transported to a hospital.
