A woman was killed in an arson attack in her 3rd floor flat along with her two African grey parrots in Westham, Phoneix on Monday.
It is said that residents contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after they noticed some coming out of the flat.
When the officers arrived on the scene they found firefighters in the process of entering the building.
While extinguishing the fire the body of Jackie Naidoo was discovered along with two African grey parrots who were killed.
According to the neighbors, the deceased live in the apartment with his boyfriend and 12-year-old son.
It is said that her boyfriend was seen driving off in her white Volkswagen Polo TSI when the fire started and it is suspected that he is the one who murdered Naidoo.
It is believed that the deceased’s son was at school at the time of the incident however this is yet to be confirmed.
