Two robbery suspects escape mob justice | KZN

KZN – Osindisweni Community members barricaded the entrance of a School preventing educators from leaving after two robbery suspects aged 23 and 25 were locked in a classroom after being attacked by a mob.

It is said that the two men were responsible for a spate of robberies in the area and attempted to snatch a cellphone from a learner who was on his way to school this morning.

It was then that two other pupils confronted the suspects and began assaulting them residents heard the incident and quickly mobilized to the scene.
Upon arrival, the suspects had already managed to flee into the school where educators locked the suspects in a classroom.
Learners were also dismissed early as they were also threatened to lodge an attack on the two men, Saps officers arrived and removed both suspects from the school premises.
