GAUTENG – A 64-year-old man was arrested for the alleged murder of his wife and two daughters and attempted murder of his third daughter.

It is said that on Thursday Evening (12 May 2022) the allegedly killed his wife and two daughters aged 1 and 6 before attempting to kill the third child (4), the suspect then proceeded by allegedly trying to commit suicide by hanging himself.

It was then that police were called out to the scene where the woman and her two daughters were certified dead and the third girl was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

The suspect was arrested and taken to hospital after he sustained injuries from his alleged suicide attempt and is under police guard.

The suspect has since been charged with murder and attempted murder and is set to appear in court as soon as he is discharged from the hospital.
