KZN – A 40-Year-old man Identified was killed after he jumped out of a taxi that lost control as it experienced Break failure in Trenance park on Wednesday morning.
Reaction Unit South Africa was called up to the scene where they found the Toyota Hiace crashed into a metal barrier.
Panday was found lying on the ground bleeding excessively from an injury to his head and was declared dead on the scene.
It is said that the brakes on the minibus taxi failed when Panday opened the sliding door and attempted to jump safely however he struck the metal barrier with his head.
The driver also informed RUSA officers that he advised Panday not to jump as he attempted to stop the vehicle.
