A Mozambican man was found dead this Sunday morning (03 April 2022) at the Quarry Informal settlement in Redcliffe, KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA( was called up to the scene by a member of the community, on arrival they were taken to where the body of the male was lying in a prone position.
Upon examination, the deceased was found to have whip marks on his back and multiple stab wounds on his chest and back.
According to the friend of the deceased he last saw him around 1 am this morning when he came to his home. He then refused to let him on as he was intoxicated and a few hours later his lifeless body was discovered by the community members.
The motive for the murder hasn’t been established.
