Eastern Cape Police are investigating a case of culpable Homicide after 17-year-old boy Lisakhanya Lwana was left to die in an apparent hit and run accident.
On Sunday the 3rd of April 2022, the lifeless body of the teen was found lying on route R63 between Qonce and Masingata.
It is alleged that at approximately 8 pm, a driver of a VW T-Cross was travelling behind another vehicle on Algoa Road when the driver suddenly heard something falling on top of her car.
According to authorities, she immediately stopped and discovered the body of the teen lying on the road. It is alleged that the other vehicle’s driver failed to stop at the accident scene.
Lisakhanya was a Grade 9 student at the prestigious Dale College Boys College High School and an avid rugby sportsman.
