Four inmates have escaped from the Rooigrond correction facility in North West today (15 March 2021)

The South African Police services are together working with the Department Of Correctional Services to find the following inmates.

Zachariah Francisco Nyalimate (Mozambican) was convicted for housebreaking and murder and is serving 27 years.

Alfred Gwambe (Mozambican) is convicted for housebreaking, theft and being in possession of a stolen vehicle and is serving 65 years.

Siyabonga Sithole (South African) is convicted for rape, theft and housebreaking and is serving a life sentence.

Edward Madiba (South African) is convicted for robbery, possession of a firearm and is serving 15 years in prison.

The department has appealed to the public to assist with any information that may lead to the re-arrest of the four and they are considered dangerous if you see any of them please call the police.
