3 men arrested for tampering with essential infrastructure

3 Men were arrested for tampering with essential infrastructure -Northern Cape 
On Saturday, 19 March 2022, three men aged between the ages of 29 and 42-years-old were arrested at around 3pm at Magojaneng outside of Mothibistad for tampering with essential infrastructure. 
It is said that SAPS members of Mothibistad, Kuruman and Kuruman POP quickly responded to a complaint they received from Vodacom about people busy tampering with Vodacom power. 
Upon further investigation at the scene, 3 male suspects were arrested after being found with housebreaking implements in their possession such as grinder, spanners, extension chords and a  battery, etc. 
A white Ford Ranger double cap was also seized as it is believed it has been utilized in the commission of a crime. 
It is said that the Acting JTG District Commander, Brigadier Johnny Besnaar commended the members for their swift reaction which led to the arrest and the confiscations. 
All the three suspects are expected to appear in Mathibistad Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 22 March 2022 on charges of tampering with essential infrastructure.
