A KZN 63 year old man suffered open wounds in his head, welts to his back and a suspected broken arm after he was assaulted by his neighbours on Tuesday.
It is said that the grandfather of seven who works at a block manufacturing company as a supervisor was watching over his two employees when two man came into the premises where he works .
The neighbours then complained about them making noise preceding to chasing the two employees out then assaulting the man using various tools including a spade and a whip.
The suspect then fled the scene in a Toyota Corolla and the victim sought help from another neighbour where Rusa (Reaction Unit of South Africa) which responded to the scene and treated the injuries before taking him to hospital .
Criminal cases have been registered and are currently under investigation.
