Crocodile killer given R500 bail | KZN

Hluhluwe, KZN – 32-year-old Sphamandla Mhlongo who was arrested on charges of being in possession of unlawful firearm and ammunition as well as possession of game meat received R500 bail at the Ubombo magistrate’s court.

It is said that on the 9th of April 202 the Hluhluwe Stock theft Unit received information about a man who allegedly killed a crocodile.

It is when Police officers and Game Rangers proceeded to the suspect’s home in Kwajobe where Crocodile remains and remains of other animals were discovered.

According to investigations, it is said that on the 4th of April 2022 a crocodile was shot and killed in the buldwin area.

The suspect is set to appear in court again on the 6th of May 2022.
