TWO MEN BURNT ALIVE AFTER A FAILED ABDUCTION
An unfortunate event has yet again presented itself at Nzhelele Village in the Vhembe District. This comes after two men were burnt alive inside their vehicle on Friday Morning. It is alleged that the two men who were travelling with a Nissan Tiida vehicle were reportedly trying to abduct a young girl in the area.
The failed absconding provoked the community to stone the vehicle with rocks and eventually set it alight with the two men inside. The two men were burnt beyond recognition.
The community members were relieved about the outcome of the incident.
“They must continue to deal decisively and aggressively with anyone attempting to steal our sisters”.
Others went as far as saying that the police are dismissal failing the people, as a result, the community took the matter into their own hands.
“It serves them right. Big up to the community cos the police are failing us”.
“If this country had any justice, people wouldn’t have to take law into their own hands, but because we live in a lawless country, people fight for themselves. You can’t trust anyone to protect you in this country, even police are criminals, they are on criminals’ payroll. Anything could have happened to that little girl and her family would probably never know what had happened to her.
3 years later, Amahle is still not found. In this country, we’re just always crossing our fingers that we make it home in one piece every day 😏”.
It is alleged that at a different event two weeks ago, two men also attempted to abduct two girls but they were caught by the community and got burnt.
“I don’t condone such things, but two weeks ago, two people attempted to run away with the kids and were caught up and the community burned them alive inside their vehicles, then again today another attempt and the same thing happened, so these guys don’t learn, they take us for granted or what. I say a good job from the community. Our kids are sold every day and the police are doing absolutely nothing to help.
