Two suspects arrested for stealing goods worth more than R600 000 | Northern Cape

Two Suspects aged 27 and 32 are expected to appear at the Kuruman Magistrates court on charges of business robbery, Northern Cape.

According to reports, it is said that the suspects robbed a well known retail store through the roof in the early hours of  Tuesday (09 August 2022). It said that goods worth more than R600 000 were stolen including laptops, Cell phones and an undisclosed amount of cash.
It said that the suspects were traced and found unpacking the stolen goods at a house in Seoding village near Kuruman during an operation conducted by a Multi Disciplinary Team. The team also seized a NP 200 bakkie which it is believed that it was used to commit the crime.

The Acting Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Crime Detection, Brigadier Nicky Mills commended the team for excellent investigative work which led to the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of stolen goods.

The suspects are set to appear in court on Thursday ( 11 August 2022).
