A decomposing body of a female was discovered in a house in Waterloo on Friday afternoon.
It is said that the residents in the area called up Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after they detected a foul smell coming from the woman’s house.
It was then that RUSA officers were dispatched to the scene where they were informed that the public managed to force open the bedroom window.
The body of the female believed to be in her early twenties was found lying prone position covered in a blanket.
‘Reaction Officers broke the front door and entered the house, The body of the woman was in an advanced stage of decomposition and she was partially naked.
According to her neighbor, she was last seen about a week ago, The female is said to have lived in the house for only two months.
Information regarding her pace of employment or her family’s contact information could be provided and the cause of her death was unconfirmed.
