The body of an unidentified male was discovered at an informal settlement in Canelands on Friday morning.
It is said that Reaction Unit South Africa was contacted to the scene where they found the body of the unresponsive male in a pathway between Informal homes.
It is said that the male sustained a single stab wound to his chest and was declared deceased by medics.
According to resident the heard him Calling for assistance around 21:00 last night (02 June 2022) however they ignored him.
The motive of the murder is still unknown.
