Two men shot and killed in Gqeberha ~Eastern Cape
Police are in search of two suspects that opened fire on a white VW Polo in Koliti Street, Ikamvelihle yesterday 31 March 2022 at about 20:40.
It is said that this car was driving into a driveway of a home in Koliti Street, when the two unknown suspects entered the yard along with them and started shooting at the car and it’s occupants. The 38-year-old driver and the 29-year-old passenger sadly passed on the scene when another 35-year-old male was injured in the incident and is now receiving medical treatment.
The two suspects are said to have fled the scene after the shooting and the motive of the shooting is still being investigated.
Both the cases of murder and that of attempted murder have been opened by Ikamvelihle SAPS and the investigation is being led by the Eastern Cape Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit (POCI).
