Police arrest two suspects who killed allegedly killed a farmer and his wife | Limpopo

Two suspects have been arrested in an incident after a 74-year-old farmer perished together with his wife after their farmhouse was allegedly set ablaze, during a house robbery at their farmhouse at Levubu on the outskirts of Thohoyandou.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe had launched a massive manhunt, in search of the two suspects after the 72 hours of activation that she ordered.
According to an investigation, it was revealed that the farmer and his spouse were allegedly aggressively approached by the suspects who stole some of the family’s belongings, including guns, had the family’s vehicle as their transport, and set the house on fire on their departure.
A search for the other suspects continues. The Provincial Commissioner praised the command its stakeholders for assisting them on find the criminals.
