The Vanderbijlpark magistrates’ court arrested three charged for illegal dealings in narcotics yesterday.
The trio (Lawrence Tumelo Mokoena (27), Delligs Sapoenda (23) and Zandiwe Banda (29) were arrested came From a search and seizure operation by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation in Germiston on 8 March 2022
The investigation came to effect as there were reports about drug activities taking place at a couple of buildings in Ardenworld, Vanderbijlpark area.
A search and seizure operation was conducted where the Hawks nabbed three suspects who were allegedly manufacturing mandrax powder in the premises and were charged immediately.
Electronic gadgets, mandrax powder and drug manufacturing Equipment with a street value of R5million were seized for further investigation.
