A 47-year-old man was killed by his stepson on Friday (12 March 2022) after he was stabbed multiple times in their home in Trenance Park, KZN.

The man was found lying in a pool of blood in the passage after Reaction Unit South Africa was called for assistance with the critically injured man.

It is said that the man was arguing with his wife when his stepson intervened. It was then during the altercation the stepson stabbed the deceased 12 times and fled the scene with his clothing drenched in blood.

The man was declared deceased on the scene after he showed no signs of life. The stepson later returned to the scene and was arrested and detained at SAPS Verulam.
