two girls were rescued after being stuck on the 3rd floor of a building

Johannesburg metro police officers were stopped by a group of people while conducting the ‘Buya mthetho’ patrol to assist in helping children aged 2 and 5 who were stuck on the pillars of the 3rd floor of a building.

The JMPD officers with the help of a community member who climbed up a pole to the third floor managed to rescue the girls and brought them to safety.
It is said that the mother of the kids left them while they were asleep and went to buy some meat at a local butchery and when the kids woke up realizing they were alone in the house they got out of an open window and got stuck on the ledger of the 3rd floor.
The girls were handed over to their mother upon her return.
