It was hell on Friday morning as Khumalo residents in Katlehong took to the streets to strike and try to allege that they have been living in the dark for over 7 months.

Residents who reside in Khumalo which is situated in ekurhuleni Gauteng took to the streets and blocked sontonga road along with Venus Dr during their strike.
It is said that the reason for their strike is that they haven’t had electricity for over 7 months and have brought the issue to Eskom several times.
Since Friday a part of Venus Dr road still has roads and taxi drivers have been using an alternative road.
Residents have threatened to continue with their protest to re-strike if they aren’t heard.
