It has been 23 years now since 43 people died in Ellis Park stadium when Kaizer Chiefs faced Orlando Pirates on the 11th April 2002.

The match was stopped was stopped due to the high number of people who were entering inside the stadium and ended up stamping on each other.

Amakhosi has send a heartfelt message to those who have died as they remember this painful day that has cost the life of many people.

The love of football is something that has claimed the lives life’s of many people.

Children have lost their parents during that day as they wanted to watch their favorite teams playing.
