Sundowns set to make history at CAF super league

Mamelodi Sundowns is the only South African giant that is representing their country at the CAF super league that kickoffs on Friday afternoon at Tanzania.

Sundowns defeated Petro De luanda at Angola on Saturday to increase their chances of going to the second round of the tournament after the long fought that they did.

They will face Petro at Pretoria on Tuesday evening on the second game and they have the 2 goals away advantage that will boast them to advance to the next round.

Sundowns has been having a tough schedule at the domestic football and they will have to beef up their squad so that they can give other players a rest.
