Education means everything for Steve Khomphela who studied teaching at Tshiya College of Education in Qwaqwa East of the Free State.

He is one of the few players who were playing for professional team’s then also studying on the side back in the days, and this comes after the chairman and founder of Free State stars Mike Mokoena was pursuing his players to study so that they can have a better life after football.

Khompela has also played for Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana we’re he has impressed lot of people but his English language is something that many people don’t want to miss.

He is currently coaching for Dstv Premiership side Moroka Swallows.
