A 30 year old man has been arrested for the alledged double murder of his ex girlfriend (34) and her child (14).
It is said that on Saturday (14 May 2022) around 3:55 am the suspect went to his ex girlfriend’s house and stabbed her to death then preceded to hitting her son with a hammer on his head and then fled the scene.
Paramedics were then called to the scene where they declared both the mother and her son dead.
The suspect is set to appear at the Viljoenskroon Magistrates Court on the 18th of may on a charge of murder.
