Cable Theft Suspect shot dead in Greylands -KZN 

An 18-year-old theft suspect was shot and killed while two of his accomplices were arrested by a private security company(name withheld) after they were allegedly caught stealing copper cables from the railway line in Greylands, KZN last night (Friday). 
Members of RUSA(Reaction Unit South Africa) were called out to the scene by a member of the public at approximately 00:53 reporting the incident. Reaction Officers and RUSA medics were dispatched to the location and on arrival the Tongaat SAPS and Security Officers tasked with protection of railway infrastructure in attendance. 
It was found that the three suspects that were in a red VW Golf 1 were seen stealing copper cables. The suspects attempted to flee when Security Officers fired shots in attempt to stop them. The driver is said to have been shot in the body and succumb to his injuries while two of his were apprehended. Stolen cables are said to have been recovered from the getaway vehicle. 
The deceased was located in a probe position next to his vehicle.
