Amakhosi coaches to work with Sun City Prison inmates.

Kaizer Chiefs coaches, Arthur Zwane and Dillon Shepherd, will conduct workshops where they will use their expertise to train the female inmates with a view to equipping them with some skills that can be of benefit long in the future

This will be part of the Twinning Project which is a partnership between the Department of Correctional Services (DCS), Chiefs and the FIFA Foundation, focusing on female inmates at the
Johannesburg Correctional Centre. –

Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard are two notable figures in South African football, known for their contributions both as players and coaches.

Arthur Zwane, born on September 20, 1973, in Soweto, South Africa, is a former professional footballer who played primarily as a winger. He is best known for his long-standing association with Kaizer Chiefs, one of South Africa’s most prestigious football clubs.

Zwane’s playing career was marked by his speed, dribbling skills, and creativity on the ball. After retiring from professional football, Zwane transitioned into coaching, where he continued his journey with Kaizer Chiefs.

He initially took on various roles within the club’s youth structures, developing young talent, before being promoted to assistant coach for the senior team. His deep understanding of the game and connection with the club’s culture made him a valuable asset in the coaching staff.

In 2022, Zwane was appointed as the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs, a role that further solidified his influence within the club. Dillon Sheppard, born on February 27, 1979, in Durban, South Africa, is another former professional footballer who had a successful career as a left-winger.

Sheppard played for several clubs, including the South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns, and had stints abroad in Russia and Greece. Known for his crossing ability and work rate, Sheppard was a consistent performer throughout his playing days.

After retiring, Sheppard ventured into coaching and joined Kaizer Chiefs as an assistant coach alongside Zwane. His tactical acumen and experience as a player have made him an important figure in the team’s coaching setup, where he works closely with Zwane to guide and develop the squad.
