Khune future at Chiefs set to be decided soon

While South African number1 goalkeeper hangs in balance there’s lot of hope that he won’t leave the team that has helped him to be were he is today.

Khune is one of the few players who has only played for one team since he begun his proffesional career.

The Amakhosi family has turned to be the only home that he knows since arriving in Jozi at the early age, and some knows he arrived as a striker but transformed onto been a goalkeeper that has won plenty of awards in the PSL era

One of his big moments was when he was playing for Bafana Bafana at the 2010 FIFA world cup here in mzansi.

Kaizer Chiefs comment on reports of Itumeleng Khune being offered marketing position to work closely with Jessica Motaung

“The head of marketing Jessica Motaung, has been out of town and when she returns, they will then sit down and resolve Khune’s situation,” a club insider told Sunday World.

“Itu has been at Chiefs for more than 20 years and he is now part of the family. He is very close with club bosses, the Motaung family and he served the club with distinction,” he concluded.
