Rooi: Chiefs should break the bank and sign Velebayi and sell him to Europe

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Thabang Rooi believes his former club should increase their offer to secure Velebayi, stating that the player would add a different dimension to the squad.

“I think he is a winger they really need at the team this season. He has something different from the other wingers we have currently,” Rooi told the media.

“I feel like Chiefs should increase the offer and get him. They really need to work on their finances and get this young man.

“The advantage is that he is still young and they can sell him for big money in the future. He can even go to Europe after playing well for Chiefs. So, yes, I think they should increase the offer they are giving to Spurs.”
